Paste it into any AI chat window — Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, Perplexity, Kimi, Mistral Le Chat, Cursor, Windsurf, Ollama, LM Studio — and the AI instantly knows who you are, what you're working on, and how you like to work. No API key. No MCP setup. No browser extension. Nothing on the AI tool's side.
What competitors do
Every competitor requires something from the AI tool. ctxvault needs an API key configured per tool. Context Sync needs npm install + MCP support. ContextForge needs MCP protocol. XTrace needs their browser extension installed. AI Context Flow needs their Chrome extension. Qorbit needs MCP-compatible clients only.
Why this matters
There are hundreds of AI tools. Most don't support MCP. Most don't have plugin systems. Most don't let third parties inject context. CacheTank doesn't need any of that — because it's just readable text. The AI reads it the same way it reads anything you paste into the chat.
How we verified this claim
The /ctx endpoint returns Content-Type: text/plain structured markdown. No authentication required on the AI side. No headers, no tokens, no handshake. Tested and working with: Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini, Perplexity, Cursor, and local LLMs via Ollama.
